Parks & Recreation
Building better parks where families can gather, play and enjoy the outdoors together. New shade shelters coming to Marikina Park, Jordans Rainbow Park, Reed Parkette and Snowcap Park to keep kids cool during summer months. An exciting new Adventure Zone at Sandalwood and Torbram corner plus the Gore Meadows extension will give our community more places to stay active. These improvements are part of our plan to make sure every neighborhood has great recreational spaces for residents of all ages.

Creating Green Spaces for Everyone
Investing in park upgrades across Wards 9 and 10 to provide quality outdoor spaces for recreation, relaxation and community gatherings. These projects respond directly to resident requests and enhance the quality of life in our neighborhoods. We’re focused on creating parks that serve people of all ages and abilities, from young families to seniors. Our commitment includes both immediate improvements and long-term developments to build Brampton’s green spaces.
- New shade structures at four community parks to protect families from sun exposure.
- Adventure Zone development at Sandalwood and Torbram corner creating exciting play opportunities.
- Major extension to Gore Meadows facility expanding recreational options for residents.
Future developments including enhancements to Black Forest and Sandalwood parks will continue to build our community’s outdoor infrastructure for years to come.
